I am now living through my 5th decade of this band and was tired of them in '71 but this is just excellent. the expressions of the early Beatles success shows in this. this looks like the Rubber Soul time ('65 - '66) in dress and hairdoos. a little past Meet the Beatles ('64), and no way as far as Seargent Pepper ('67). the body language you caught here and all four of thier expressions is priceless. excellent piece
nah, never did. I was a little kid when they stop performing live in '66. Paul did a big Russian thing in the '90s when the curtain came down in eastern Europe and played tunes that he never performed live. which was everything from Sgt. pepper's album to Let it Be. 1st concert I went to was at about 13 which was in the '70s ....Rush....I think yeah Im getting up there now 44+ and counting.
This picture makes me so teary eyed! You've really captured that nostalgic feeling. And the title...perfect choice, because the the fact that it's from the John Lennon tribute song makes the feeling of lost time all the more strong with the reminder that he is gone. You've really hit home.
P.S.: John Lennon may be my Beatle, but George looks so cute here!
